Making STM happen
In STM EfficientFlow, the Baltic ports of Rauma and Gävle implement efficient port calls using real-time information. The solution is based on OpenSource and is being developed right now by software house Unikie. The software is Schedule to be operational in April 2020.
The Projects also works with improved traffic flow that converts unsafe waiting times into bunker savings for large ships in the narrow Swedish and Finnish archipelagos. The pilot software for both Finnish and Swedish pilots as well as the navigation equipment on some of the ferries is updated to provide this information.
