RTF on International conference “Transport means 2019”
During the International Conference “Transport means 2019” that was held on 2-4 October 2019 in Palanga and Klaipeda (Lithuania), RTF project was represented by two members of the project research group Vytautas Paulauskas from Klaipeda Shipping Research Centre (Lithuania) and Ludmila Filina-Dawidowicz from West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin (Poland).
More than 230 participants from 20 countries took part in the international Conference “Transport means 2019”
The project idea was described in two presentations titled “Ro-Pax Vessels Real Time of Arrival Accuracy Analysis and Importance for Other Transport Modes” and “Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax Vessels ETA and ATA Analysis” that were included in conference program. The need to improve real time information sharing within transport routes using ferry transportation faced interest among the conference participants and fruitful discussions took place. Additionally, the research article titled “Ro-Ro and Ro-Pax Vessels ETA and ATA Analysis” was published in Proceedings of 23rd International Scientific Conference “Transport Means 2019” part 2.
